Leak Detection in Millner

The customer reported a high water meter reading and engaged us to inspect the property for leaks. Upon arrival, we discovered that the meter was leaking at a rate of 20 litres per minute. Despite no visible signs of a leak, we could hear water running through the pipes even when the taps were turned off. Recognising the need for specialised assistance, we recommended leak detection services to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.

Leak detection experts attended and identified the leak in a bathroom under concrete, near the bath. Our team then attended the site and used cutting and jackhammering techniques to access the area identified by the leak detection. Upon exposing the 20mm copper line beneath the bath, it was necessary to remove the bath for proper access to the leak. 

The leak was successfully repaired, and the bath was reinstalled, ready for tiling to restore the bathroom to its original state.
